It’s award season here at JPG, and we’re pleased and honored to announce that we’ve been recognized by two of the premiere organizations for wedding photography for our work!

The International Society of Professional Wedding Photography (ISPWP) named us FIRST PLACE for my shot of Katie and Craig’s engagement.  We had an awesome time cruising around Washington DC, and I love that the focused cab driver appears in this picture too.

We also received TWELFTH PLACE from ISPWP for the wedding details category for a really fun pic of Kara, Andrew, and their dear dog, Victor.  We’re so sad that Victor passed away recently, as we feel like we got to know him too, but we’re glad that Kara and Andrew have these (now award-winning) memories of their best pooch pal.

Then, the fabulous folks at Fearless Photographers chose Liz and Chris’s creative bowling photo for this round’s selective awards!  We are now officially a recommended Fearless photographer.  You can view all of our award winning photos from them here.

We’re honored that both of these contests are international, and that JPG’s images were chosen among the best wedding photographers in the world.  Honors like these challenge us to continue to push ourselves creatively and capture those moments as they happen.
