The sun, birds and all of nature were in harmony for Jamie and Trey, as if God personally blessed them on April 18, 2009. This Philadelphia Wedding Photographer was handed priceless moments at Ridley Creek State Park, not far west of Philadelphia. The beautiful weather here at the mansion made the entire day perfect, and Jamie and Trey made it fun!
Jamie and Trey planned a fantastic wedding with great details. They set up a beautiful ceremony outside along rows of tall trees. They had an outdoor cocktail hour with music and then lots of fantastic dancing. It came together with the help of Michelle Buser, JPG Photography’s resident event planner. They also hired Derek Dienner, our highly talented videographer friend who runs LaVon Studios in Lancaster, PA.
This park has so much meaning for Jamie and Trey because it’s a place that’s been a part of their dating, and where he proposed to her. And throughout the day, they kept things moving and fun, like taking a time out to get ice cream. Whenever a Jack & Jill Ice Cream Truck goes by, how do you say no to that infectious tune!?! Jamie & Trey heard it calling their name, and when I suggested we get a few fun shots, they didn’t hesitate. Of course, they both got their favorite, Strawberry Shortcake. This all allowed for great Philadelphia photojournalism.
What is also a wonderful is that Jamie & Trey are my neighbors, calling East Falls home. But ironically, we met in Virginia Beach at the wedding of their good friends, and our awesome former clients, Lynell & Mike Helms. We couldn’t believe we met 300-plus miles away, only to come back and live within a mile of each other!
And just like Lynell & Mike, Jamie and Trey lived it up, partying all day, having cigars, champagne and perfect spring evening to call their own. Fantastic job guys! We’re so honored to have been there.
Best,
Joe G, Rebecca, Michelle & Faye
